Teddy's First Birthday | Kansas City, MO 1 Year Photos

Where has the time gone?  Sweet Teddy turned 1 years old a little over a week ago.  It seems like just yesterday that I met this very tiny little baby boy with big blue eyes and bright red hair.





When Teddy turned 3 months old, his hair got a little lighter and he wasn't so little anymore.



At 6 months, Teddy looked like such a big boy with a little more hair and still rockin' those big, bright blue eyes.



A 9 months, Teddy's personality started to show even more, and his sweet smiles and funny faces were so fun to watch.



Now, at 1 years old Teddy has become such a wonderful little boy.  I've loved watching him grow, and I will miss our little sessions every 3 months not only for the sweet boy, but also his wonderful parents.  Speaking of, Ryan and Katy put on a lovely little party for their 1 year old and I had a fabulous time photographing it.  Enjoy your preview!

Lacie and Darrell Stuckey Formal Wedding Session Preview | Lawrence, KS Wedding Photography

I'm sure you remember Lacie and Darrell's engagement and wedding pictures from earlier posts on the blog.  Darrell and Lacie opted to also book a formal session after the wedding.  These are great for those who don't want to worry too much about fitting in all of the formal pictures of just the bride and groom during the wedding day.  It's also nice to switch things up a little for the formals session, like wearing your hair a different way (like Lacie did) or wearing a more casual suit (like Darrell chose to do).  As always, they were wonderful to work with and we had a great time.  Enjoy your preview!

Dolan | 1 Year Kansas City, MO Photographs

This past mother's day, my own mother was in Tennessee at my cousin's wedding that I unfortunately could not attend because of scheduling conflicts.  So, I got to spend mother's day evening photographing Dolan and his absolutely lovely mom and dad for his 1 year pictures.  When Dolan's mom first contacted me, she mentioned that they are moving north this summer for a job, so she wanted to document Dolan in the town he was born, Kansas City.  We visited the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and one of the beautiful fountains on Ward Parkway that Kansas City is famous for, and I hope that someday Dolan will be able to look back on these photos and see his first home :)  Enjoy your preview!
