Nichole-Olathe Maternity Photo Preview

It's always great hearing from clients I have had in the past, and I love catching up and finding out what has happened since I saw them last.  So, when I received an e-mail from Nichole asking me to photograph her maternity pictures and her new baby's first year, I was thrilled!  I first met Nichole probably 4 years ago when her father asked me to photograph her and her sister.  I didn't know the girls before, but they were so much fun, not to mention gorgeous.  I would link to their photos, but this was before I posted preview on my blog :)  Not too long after that, I heard from Nichole again about take headshots of her for a dance tryout.  Nichole was a Classy Cat while at Kansas State, and she was auditioning for another dance squad after graduating from KSU.  It has been some time since I saw her last, so it was so much fun catching up during her maternity session.  I am SO excited to meet her little one next month, and I am even more excited that she is having a little girl!  If you follow my blog, I have lots of and lots of sweet, adorable and WONDERFUL little boys I am currently documenting during their first year (in fact, a new one was just added last week...welcome to the world Jack David!), but for some reason I have just 2 other little girls compared to the numerous little boys (however, don't get me wrong...I love them :D).

Enjoy your preview!

Ryland-Parkville, MO First Birthday Photos

I began photographing Ryland when he was 3 months old, and it has been so much fun getting to know him and his wonderful parents.  I feel so lucky to have such wonderful clients, and they are no exception.

Poor Ryland had a VERY windy day during his first birthday photos, but he made it through the morning and was a trooper.  Happy 1st birthday, Ryland...can't wait to meet your new brother or sister in June!

Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Stuckey | Lawrence, KS Wedding Preview

You may remember Darrell and Lacie from their engagement session all over the campus at the University of Kansas last summer.

Here we are 9 months later, and they are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Stuckey.  The whole day was perfect, from the weather to every small detail...it could not have gone smoother.  Lacie and Darrell are both extraordinarily kind and generous people, and I'm so lucky to have met such great individuals.  I could go on and on about how wonderful the day was and how wonderful they both are, but I think the pictures can do the talking for me (because there are LOTS!)  Love you both and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!

But of course, no one let him stay asleep for long :)

Glen Templeton performed at the reception and was awesome...a great way to start the evening.

The guestbook I designed for Darrell and Lacie for their wedding day as a part of their package...they chose a question and answer format and it was SO fun to look through all of the answers from their guests.
